Purpose of the program

The purpose of the Asthma Foundation of Tasmania’s Schools Program is to reduce risk to students with asthma and severe allergies as a result of these medical conditions.

The program is designed to be easily implemented by busy schools. It aims to:

  • decrease the likelihood of a loss of life due to asthma and severe allergies
  • decrease physical discomfort or mental anguish due to asthma and severe allergies
